Hi guys! Please take not of the rules! If you have a question, feel free to PM me
General Out of Character Rules.
Character Limit - You can have as many characters as you think you can handle, just as long as you can keep them all active and not going to neglect them.
Graphics – Please make sure your signatures don’t stretch the page. I can’t stress enough how frustrating this is. If you would like someone to make a signature for you, feel free to ask one of the graphic staff and we’ll happily try to help you
Manners – Please don't take ‘In Character’things personally, rivalries and hate between characters are completely fine, but flaming other members is not tolerable. Keep in mind that most players are generally nice people; despite the fact that your characters may hate each other, but please do not take it out on the players. If myself or any of the admins find this rule breeched (as in out of character fighting) both parties will asked to address the situation and in the end both or one person will be suspended or banned from the board until the admins see fit. Also there is to be no discrimination against other players. If I or any of the admins hear of discrimination (such as cussing, racial, sexual or religious comments or anything that offends the member in any way ) the offender will be warned or banned depending on the severity of the action. If any sort of bigotry has happened to you, please feel free to PM myself or one of the admins.
Activity – If you know you’re not going to be on, please let us know. We understand that sometimes you can’t always give a warning (trust me I know) but it is most appreciated if you do. We don’t like deleting members here, but after an extensive amount of time, your account may be deleted if we received no warning from you, so please let us know if you are going to be away for awhile.
Chat Box – If I may say so, we’ve been extremely lucky with the c-box as no one has abused it in anyway. However, if there is any cussing, or unacceptable behaviour on the c-box the member will be warned. Worst case scenario however will be the removal of the chat – box, and we don’t want that.
IC and OOC – OOC (Out Of Character) writing within posts are acceptable, and for whatever reason are extremely handy. However if you are going to write out of character in your post, please make it obvious. Eg. Using double brackets, (( out of character text...)) or OOC: out of character text IC.... this just makes it easier to understand what is part of the post and what isn’t. I don’t mind what you use, just make sure it’s obvious.
General In Character Rules.
Post Length – I know how hard it is sometimes to think of what to write. Trust me, you won’t be shunned for not being able to write a novel with each post, but please try to at least write 3 sentences in each post. I often find it hard to avoid one liners, but it is even more difficult to reply to an one liner. A little bit of detail makes it all that much easier.
Mature Content – This site is rated between NC – 17 and R. This is because there may be some violence, swearing, sexual content and drug use on this board. If any of these factors offend you, maybe you need to reconsider if this site is appropriate for you, but keep in mind; you don’t have to include these factors into your role playing. If for example you don’t fancy writing about sexual encounters, let the other member know and I’m sure they’ll be willing to black out the scene, skip it or avoid it all together. Also, if you know the topic has mature content in it, please put a warning in the title, such as a NC-17 or an R etc. If the thread becomes more mature later on in the thread just change the title or ask an admin to do so for you. We don’t expect you to know what is going to happen in every post so this is okay. ----Rape and same sex couples are allowed on this forum. However with rape, make sure it is okay with the other member before you send your character out on theirs. Also keep in mind the strengths of the characters. Eg a male is GENERALLY stronger than a female, so it would be harder for a female to fight a male off. Likewise, a vampire or werewolf is stronger than a mortal which makes it almost impossible for a mortal to break free.
Posting – Please post in the third person. It just makes it easier to understand what is going on. However, first person posting is welcomed if you’re writing about your character’s thoughts, when your character is speaking or in out of character chat.
Godmoding – Absolutely No Godmoding! Unless you have permission of the other person, there is no Godmoding allowed. No character is 100% perfect, immortal or not. Nor can the character avoid every hit in a violent encounter. Make it fair. Ex of Godmoding:Stella walked into the room and was the most beautiful woman there. The Right way:Stella -never one to be modest- looked down her noses at the other women in the room. She knew they envied her beauty. Stella had always known that she was the most stunning woman alive. Big headed yes.... god moding no... Your character can think they are all powerful and strong, or the most beautiful in the world, but they are not.
Powerplaying – Like Godmoding, there is to be absolutely no powerplaying![/i] unless the other member gives you exact permission. Powerplay is when you control someone else’s character without their permission to benefit you. [b]eg of Powerplaying:Tony snarled at Larry and sniggered as Larry cowered before him The right way:Tony snarled fiercely at Larry, intending to make the male cower before him
Cross Breeding – Your characters don’t have to just pair off with another of the same species. Feel free to mix and match! This is how hybrids are made, so feel free to cross breed and have children
Pets - You characters can have pets. eg cats dogs lizards etc. Nothing like enchanted unicorns or dragons though, and no odd colours (unless agreed by a staff member) like a pink dog with green ears.
Clans/Packs – There are two vampire clans, two werewolf packs and two zombie clans. If you want your character to mix with other’s of it’s species, feel free to join, though you can join clans/packs later on. It doesn't have to be straight away when you create your character. Make sure you make a request to join with the lead of the clan/pack first.
Aging - Vampires, werewolves and zombies don't age after being turned. So if your character was turned at 28 years of age, it will always look 28 years old The young of werewolves, vampires and zombies stop aging when they stop growing. So even when the character is 98 years old, it'll still look in it's 20s.
Mates - A mate mark needs to be placed on the female's neck (or male is you wish) to show that they are mates.

DEMON RULES First thing you need to know about Demons, is that they are very powerful creatures. They can kill people without even touching them and possess people and make them do whatever the Demon wishes. Therefore, Demon RolePlaying is not to be taken lightely. Demons are creatures of Hell. They are mostly used to do Satan's bidding, going up to Earth to collect Souls and debts, but occasionally a Demon will climb out of Hell and run amuck amoungst Humans, possessing them and causing fear and mischief. The only way to send a Demon back to Hell is with an Excorcism, which is where someone reads a passage in latin and the Demon is expelled from the body it's possessing and sent back to Hell forever (or at least until they can get free, which is harder to do the second time. On this site, however, if a Demon is excorcised, it means they are as good as dead and cannot be roleplayed anymore.) On this site, we have three levels for Demons:
-First-Level Demons are those who have usually been sent to do Satan's bidding, or are the ones who are summoned by foolish mortals wanting to make a deal. First-Level Demons have red eyes and very weak powers. They are unable to cross over Rock-Salt and cannot go onto Hallowed Ground (like a church). First-Level Demons are caused a lot of pain if Holy Water touches them. They are also repelled by pentograms and can easily be caught in Devil's Traps, which only Hunters know how to make. First-Level Demons are the weakest Demons and are the easiest to Excorcise. First-Level Demons have Red eyes which show at most times, unless they are being completely human.
-Second-Level Demons are Demons who are a little more powerful than First-Level Demons, but not much. Second level Demons can cross onto Hallowed Ground, but are still repelled by Salt and Holy Water harms them, even if they're wearing clothes. Second-Level Demons are still fairly easy to Excorcise. Second-Level Demons tend to be smarter than First-Level Demons, and aren't able to be trapped inside Devil's Traps as easily, although like First-Level Demons once they're in a trap, they can't get out and are powerless. Second-Level Demons have black eyes, and are able to hide their eye colour whenever they wish, but if they're doing an evil task (eg, taking someone's soul, being effected by Holywater or talking about their Demonic state,) their eyes will automatically change to black.
-Third-Level Demons cannot be made when you fill out a form to make a Demon. This level must be earnt while Roleplaying. An admin will let you know once you have moved up a level. Third-Level Demons are the strongest of Demons on this site, but they still have limits. They can cross onto Hallowed Ground, and they aren't affected by Holy Water. They cannot cross over salt, however. Devil's Traps are the best thing to use against Level 3 Demons, though it is hard to get a Demon into one. Excorcisms are hard to perform on Third-Level Demons, and once they reach level three they have access to a powerful mark which locks them in the possessed person's body, unable to be excorcised unless the mark is broken. Third-Level Demons are able to have their own body, which does not look like a normal human. If they have their own body, their eyes are always yellow. They can still possess people and excorcism spells still send them back to Hell. Third-Level Demon's eyes are yellow, and usually stays yellow since Third-Level demons are so evil they can't hide it much.
Demons cannot be excorcised unless the Roleplayer of the Demon gives permission. Demons cannot possess other people's characters unless the person gives permission. Demons cannot powerplay or god mode. Demons don't fall in love, but are able to have children if it is with another Demon. They both must be level 3 demons to breed. It isn't easy for Demons to possess people. The person they possess have to be in a vunerable state of mind at the time of possession. Also, getting out of the person they have possessed's body isn't so easy that they can just swap bodies whenever they like, so they usually stay in the one body unless they are forced out. Demons can't kill other Roleplayer's people without permission. Demons must have some sort of reason for inflicting damage, whether it be personal gain or revenge, there must be a reason. Demons aren't common. The forms to make a Demon must be filled out accurately and detailed so that the Roleplayer of the Demon is aware that Demons aren't just like vampires or werewolves that can be normal humans, Demons are always filled with Hate and Rage. Demons must be accepted before they are able to be roleplayed.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM either Lexy, Shapeshifter666 or Myself. (Yes, we know Demons are complicated and they're complicated for a reason, so don't whinge about that to us.)
