"Didn't do too much... The rest of the class is up to me though, I couldn't concentrate..." She had a mouthful of the stir fry, chewing and swallowing it before continuing. "I brought back your homework, too, but all the teachers said not to worry about it too much."

Duke gave her an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that" he murmured, annoyed at himself for unsettling her. "Thanks I'll have a look at it later... do you have any homework tonight?" He asked

"Yeah a little. I should probably do it soon..." She had another mouthful of the stir fry. "This really is good.... You sure you won't have some?" She asked, looking up at him.

"Okay." She said, having expected a no. Once she finished the food, she took the bowl and fork to the sink and put them in. "Do you reckon we should start the homework now, or later on?" She asked, already worrying that they wouldn't get it done and fall behind. She'd of course help Duke out as much as he needed, since she doubted he'd be able to concentrate very well.

Duke nodded. 'Yeah we may as well start now" he replied, not wanting to cause her to fall behind. He wasn't sure how much he'd get done, but he hoped it'd serve as a good distraction.

"Alright." She walked back to her room and grabbed her bag, putting it on the bed so that she could look through it, pulling out her and Duke's homework.

Duke slowly followed Tash into her room. Did you want to do it in my room or in the kitchen?" he asked. He didn't mind if she used the desk in his room, he could work off his knees, but if the kitchen was easier, he was fine with it too.

"thanks... um... yeah maybe the kitchen... I'll just get my pencil case and stuff" He muttered, giving her a weak smile, before heading up to his room. Once back, with pencil case in hand, Duke leaned against her door frame.

Following, Duke ran a hand through his hair, wishing he'd just abruptly wake up. 'What subjects are you going to work on?" He asked her as he glanced through the instructions that were left for him
